Step-by-Step: From Idea to Finished Piece

1. Share Your Vision
Tell us what you’re dreaming of, from heirloom redesigns to completely original pieces. You can send sketches, inspiration photos, or simply describe what you're envisioning. We'll discuss your style, preferred stones and metals, timeline, and budget.

2. Design & Stone Selection
Once we have a clear direction, we’ll source gemstones, suggest design options, and create mockups or CAD renderings. A non-refundable design deposit is required at this stage to begin design and stone sourcing work. This deposit is applied toward the final price of your piece.

3. Final Design Approval & Payment
Once you’ve reviewed and approved the final design, we’ll send a detailed invoice. Full payment is required before production begins. At this stage, your design is considered final and no further changes can be made once production is underway.

4. Crafting Your Piece
Your design comes to life in your chosen metal using high-quality craftsmanship. We offer both traditional handmade and CAD-assisted casting, depending on the design. Production typically takes 4-6 weeks after payment, depending on complexity and sourcing.

5. Delivery
Your custom piece will be beautifully packaged and shipped with insured tracking. We’ll notify you once it ships and provide care instructions. We also offer complimentary resizing if needed after delivery.

What to Expect with Your Custom Order

• Design Deposit: A deposit may be required to begin the design process for more complex pieces. If required, it is applied toward the final balance.

• Payment: Full payment is due before production begins.

• Turnaround Time: Custom pieces are typically completed within 4–6 weeks from final design approval.

• Returns: Custom orders are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

• Warranty: Your piece is covered for craftsmanship and materials under our lifetime warranty.

• Resizing: If needed, your first resizing is complimentary after delivery.

Is there a design fee?

How long does the custom process take?
Most custom orders take 4 to 6 weeks from the time your design is approved and paid. If the design is complex or stones need to be specially sourced, we’ll let you know if additional time is needed.

Can I use my own stone?
In many cases, yes. We’re happy to work with heirloom or customer-provided stones if they’re suitable for the setting. We'll need to review photos or see the stone in person to confirm.

Can I customize one of your existing designs?
Absolutely. Many custom orders are inspired by pieces already in our collection and we can modify stone size, metal, setting details, or incorporate new elements to make it uniquely yours.

Will I see a rendering or sketch first?
Yes. Once your deposit is received, we’ll create and share sketches or CAD renderings. These allow for feedback and design revisions before anything moves into production.

Can I make changes after approving the design?
Once the final design is approved and the balance is paid, no further changes can be made. At that point, we begin production and order materials specific to your piece.

Is custom work returnable?
Custom designs are final sale, as they are made to your exact specifications. If there’s a problem with your piece when it arrives, please contact us. We want you to love it and will make it right.

Do you offer resizing or repairs?
Yes, we offer one complimentary resizing if needed after delivery. Our lifetime warranty covers craftsmanship-related repairs. Damage from wear, impact, or other external causes may incur a repair fee.

Can I rush a custom order?
Possibly. Rush production may be available depending on the design and our current schedule. Please contact us before placing your deposit if you have a firm deadline.
